The southernmost state of Peninsular (West) Malaysia is Johor, often written Johore. Small islands dot its 250-mile (400-km) coastline in the Strait of Malacca and South China Sea, which also wraps around the northern border of the Republic of Singapore. The second-largest city in Malaysia, Johor Bahru, is on track to become as a significant tourist destination with the inauguration of two sizable amusement parks in 2012. Another interesting Hindu temple that is recommended by tourists is the Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple, which is adorned with dazzling glass mosaics.
